CANTIENICA® METHOD

 

The Swiss CANTIENICA® Method for Bodyform and Posture is considered a therapeutical fitness method. The training improves shape and posture extremely fast and is an instruction for self-healing for afflictions and deformations of all kinds such as scoliosis, arthrosis, hollow-back, humpback, slipped/herniated disks, migraine, various organic prolepes etc.

Victoria’s passionate about how exercising according to the Cantienica method can truely strengthen your body’s core, boost your level of body awarness and help you to rediscover pain free and enjoyable movement. Before becoming a CANTIENICA® instructor 4 years ago, she studied and worked in the fields of dance, languages and in a drama school, while moving to various places like Vienna, Innsbruck, Barcelona and lately Luxembourg, where she runs the Body Power and Posture Studio in Munsbach.

YOGA

 

Yoga teaches us to be courageous and kind, strong but also soft, to be flexible so as to not to become bent out of shape or broken – not just in our physical bodies but in our minds, hearts and attitudes. Yoga calls on us to let go of divisive world views and to come together in pursuit of common goals.

Steph has been practicing since 2000 and teaching internationally since 2009.  Steph undertook the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher training with Sharon Gannon and David Life in New York before completing an apprenticeship with Cat Alip-Douglas in London.  While continuing to study, practice and teach yoga, Steph is currently studying Psychology with a special interest in Existential Psychotherapy and Phenomenology.

Lefkada – Discover a small paradise on Earth!

PRIVATE BEACH

Each of the villas has its own private pool with blue views from every room. Enjoy an amazing breakfast under the creamed pergola or explore a rare gem hidden located just underneath the villas – the wonderful private beach! It’s covered with small pearls and sand, has blue and turquoise colors and it is a wonderful round-trip of 25-45 minutes beneath the olive trees and the lush greenery of the hill. Even if you don’t have the chance to hike down to the beach, the superb views will relax and renew your spirits.

Did you know? If you are lucky, you can spot dolphins swimming in the water. The area belongs to the environmental protection network Nature 2000, because it is a habitat for dolphins and seals.

9:00-10:00 Cantienica Class* (includes a series of exercises from the CANTIENICA® Power Programme, Back Programme, Pelvic Floor Training, Faceforming and Go!)

10:30-11:30 Big Breakfast Buffet

17.30 – 19:00 Yoga Session*

20.00 Dinner

The training sessions will be held in the beautiful yoga pavillon with an amazing view on the sea! To gain as much as possible from this retreat and also because the programme is designed so one practice builds up on the other, we recommend strongly to participate in both, the morning session of Cantienica and the evening yoga session!
